After graduating from college, I lived in New Mexico and worked at a neon sign shop in Albuquerque. Learning about the mysterious properties of glass, the alchemy of gas and light and using bright continuous lines to communicate the essence of things inspired me on a very deep level. When I moved back to my birthplace in New York City I started screenprinting as a way to stay in touch with the colorful, creative nature I was cultivating out in the Southwest.
Now I am based in Brooklyn and work for Etsy full-time as our Community Strategist. I still screenprint whenever I get the chance, mostly for gifts and friends' projects. I also have another shop where I sell mailable dioramas which you can check out at http://jumpsuit.etsy.com.
